Lifetime Wells International is a 501(c)(3) public charity registered in the United States.
Thanks to the generosity of a small group of private donors that cover our administrative costs, 100% of your donation will be applied to funding water projects in Ghana and Tanzania. To date, your donations have allowed us to install over 2,300 water wells and many miles of water mains, connecting distant communities with no viable water sources to clean drinking water.
Lifetime Wells International has been serving the people of Ghana since 2006. Our operations in Ghana have come a long way since those early days when our co-founder Ken Wood (pictured in front of the first hand-pump he installed 13 years ago) drilled all of the wells himself.
Today, we have a team of local drilling experts that are dedicated to bringing clean water to the people of their country. Through their efforts and your donations, we are able to drill 100 new bore-holes, install hand-pumps, mechanized pumps and provide maintenance to keep the pumps running each and every year!
Our program in Tanzania is a little younger than our program in Ghana and has seen consistent and sustained growth.
Conditions on the ground are very similar to those that Lifetime Wells International faced in Ghana in the early years. Poor infrastructure and road conditions in the rural areas of the country make it difficult to get our large drilling rig and supplies to the areas that need it most.
Even with these difficulties, Lifetime Wells International is committed to drilling 100 wells in Tanzania each year. Your support makes it possible to provide these wells and the maintenance they require.
